Welcome Back to a New School Year!
Dear Nine Mile Falls Community,
As we begin the 2025–2026 school year, I want to warmly welcome each of you, whether you are returning for another year or joining us for the first time. This fall marks my 24th year in the Nine Mile Falls School District and my 5th as superintendent. I am incredibly proud to call this community home and am honored to continue serving our students, families, and staff.
A new school year brings renewed hope and fresh opportunities. It is a time for our students to learn more, grow deeper, and explore who they are becoming. It also offers us, as educators, leaders, and family members, a moment to refocus and recommit to supporting every child on their unique journey.
In Nine Mile Falls, we are guided by a clear and shared vision: providing for the success of each child through educational excellence. This vision goes beyond academics. It includes cultivating environments where students feel known, safe, and supported. It calls for excellent instruction, strong relationships, and a belief in the potential of every learner. It also reflects our commitment to working together, upholding high standards, and modeling the values we hope to instill in our students.
Across the district, our teams are committed to continuous improvement. Whether it’s strengthening classroom practices, enhancing school culture, improving operations, or building community partnerships, we are united in preparing every student for success - in college, career, and life beyond high school.
I am excited about what this year holds for our students. With the strength of our dedicated staff, the involvement of our families, and the stability of our community, I am confident that we will continue to build on our shared commitment to excellence.
Thank you for all you do to support our students. Here’s to a meaningful, connected, and inspiring school year.
I am Nine Mile Proud!
