Congratulations to Lakeside High School musicians who performed at the WIAA Northeast Music Educators Association District Solo and Ensemble Festival. Alex Watson won 1st place in the Bass Clarinet Solo category and is going to State Solo and Ensemble Festival at the end of April. Aidan Coons won 1st place in the Small Schools Trumpet Solo category, Nevaeh Hulet earned a rating of Excellent for her Mezzo-Soprano Solo, and Gavin Depner, Sierra Cummings, Matthew Dillingham, and Alex Watson, under the ensemble name Erm I.D.K., earned 2nd place in the Small Schools Woodwind Ensemble category.

We are thrilled to celebrate 91 Lakeside High School students who have achieved PERFECT ATTENDANCE! These dedicated students have shown up on time to every class, every day, with zero absences—excused or unexcused. Their commitment to being present and engaged is truly inspiring!

This month, we celebrated students who exemplified Citizenship, the PACE character trait for November. Citizenship means showing respect, responsibility, and care for our school, community, and country. It’s about making a positive impact and being an active, engaged member of society. 🇺🇸✨
We are so proud of these students for their outstanding example of what it means to be a good citizen. Thank you for making Lakeside a better place!

Our blood drive was a success, thanks to everyone who showed up and made it happen! We had 11 donor appointments, with 7 being first-time donors. Another 6 people joined on-site, and we ended the day with 13 units of blood collected, which could save up to 39 lives!
Special shoutout to our incredible National Honors Society for organizing this life-saving event. Let’s keep this momentum going, Lakeside!
