Hello my Nine Mile Families, it’s Talbott Time.  Today is May 20th, 2020

Please know this, I truly do miss you all.  When normal life resumes, I will make sure to emphasize the value of our face-to-face discussions more than ever before.

Tomorrow, Thursday May 21st, the fourth installment of the Fresh and Frozen food distribution will be held at Lakeside Middle School between the hours of 11 AM and Noon.

Additionally, I have been asked to share with all of you that there will be two Mobile Markets available as well.  One will be held tomorrow, Thursday, from 4PM-6PM, at the West Central Community Center.  This event will include free beef donated by the Washington Beef Community.  The second one will be held Friday, May 22nd, from 4PM to 7PM, at the Spokane County Fairgrounds.

In the coming days, you will be receiving a 9 Mile Proud Newsletter in your mailbox.  Please take a moment to read through the amazing things that our staff and schools are doing for the benefit of our students and our community.

Lastly, I hope you are seeing the yard signs throughout the community that identify the home of a senior in the class of 2020.  Help us celebrate them by giving a little honk as you drive by the house.  Speaking of seniors, we are making plans and contingency plans for graduation.  As we learn more, we will share more.

Rain, rain go away…9 Mile Proud is here to stay!
