LMS & LHS Fall Choir Concert

Lakeside High School's and Lakeside Middle
School's choral music students performed their first  concert of the school year, Vocal Jazz Night, on Wednesday, October 24, for parents and community members. The choirs combined for the singing of
the Star Spangled Banner, and then LMS Idol Choir performed four songs: Riptide (accompanied by a student on the ukulele), A Million Dreams (featuring three students), Piccolos (an original song written by the class), and The Bare Necessities.   I'm Fine was a solo performance of an original song by an eighth grader, who again played the ukulele.

It Had to Be You, a jazz classic featuring a student, was performed by the high school Concert Choir and Sally's Song was a solo by a high school student, who accompanied herself on the piano.

To finish the concert, the two choirs combined to sing Birdland, Summertime (featuring two students), and Oh Happy Day (featuring a student).

The choirs are directed by Mr. Levi Mazurek.
