LSE's Annual Bingo Night

Always a family favorite, the annual PTN Bingo Night  at Lake Spokane Elementary School was held in the gym to accomodate the large attendance.  This very popular night of family fun was held on Friday, January 25.  For just under two hours, families and friends socialized while keeping track of multiple Bingo cards in hopes of winning prizes. Dinner could also be purchased at a nominal fee and included pizza, cookies, and water/soda/coffee.

Mrs. Teresa Meyers presided as "Bingo Caller," with Principal Tim Smith as the official "Bingo Dabber".  "Do you want to know how I'm gonna win?' asked a fourth grader.  "Six cards!"  Most of the kids' strategy on winning was to play with more than one card.  One little lady won an elephant flashlight with sound on her dad's lucky number...42.  A prize table held a variety of candy, posters, board games, balls, pencils, and puzzles from which winners could choose. In addition, big prizes were given away at intervals and included everything from a badminton set,  to a mega bounce, to gift cards.

The PTN would like to thank all the volunteers who helped to make this event so successful and to all the parents and community members who support the school.
