Wrestling season begins on Thursday, October 25, 2018.  All eligibility paperwork MUST be on file with the main office for athletes to be eligible to practice, and this includes a current physical.  A preseason informational meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 10, during the last 15 minutes of each lunch period.

*** NOTE:  All wrestlers are eligible to practice upon having all eligibility paperwork turned in at the main office.  Those wrestlers who played a fall sport (XC or football) MUST have their fall sport uniform/equipment turned in by Monday, November 5, 2018, in order to be eligible to continue practicing.  They are allowed one "free" week of practice; after that "NO uniform/equipment returned = NO practice" - until the uniform/equipment is returned!  Thanks for your cooperation!

Wrestlers will actually be eligible to practice the first turn-out day, provided all eligibility paperwork is on file in the school office.  ASB & Transportation/Activity Fees MUST be paid to be eligible to participate the first match, jamboree, or takedown tournament (ASB - $20, Transportation/Activity - $60). All paperwork can either be downloaded and printed from the "Eligibility" link at the main LMS Athletics page, or students may obtain a packet of papework from the main office.

Sixth (6th) graders are welcome to participate, but the number of matches they will have against opposing schools may be very limited, as sixth graders may only wrestle other sixth graders.  Many schools in our wrestling league do not allow sixth-grade participation.  Sixth graders who wrestle in our program are still required to pay some fees and are also required to submit all eligibility paperwork - just as our 7th and 8th graders do.
