Baseball season begins for both 7th and 8th graders on Monday, April 8, 2019.  Preseason informational meetings will be held during lunch sometime prior to Spring Break.

All eligibility paperwork for baseball can be gotten at the Athletics web link at www.9mile.org and/or picked up from the main office.  All players need to fill out the "Baseball Safety Guidelines", and any athlete who has not participated in a sport this school year will need all eligibility paperwork, including a doctor's physical if a current one is not on file with main office.

    General Information
Baseball season begins on the first day after Spring Break of school each year.

To be eligible to practice on the first turn-out day, players MUST have all eligibility paperwork on file with the school office.  ASB and Transportation/Activity fees MUST be paid by the time of the first game for a player to participate in game action (ASB - $20, Transportation/Activity - $60).

Baseball players MUST participate in 8 practices before being permitted to play in a game.  All practices are held at Lakeside Middle School from 2:30pm - 4:50pm daily.

All home games will be played at Lakeside Middle School, and most games begin at 4pm.  There is sometimes an occasional 3:30pm game start.  Please see your athlete"s schedule and/or check this site for updates.

Our teams each typically play an eight-game schedule (ten is the maximum allowed by the state association, WIAA - www.wiaa.com).  We strive to have a balanced schedule of home and away games, but that does not always occur.  Game days are typically Mondays and Wednesdays.

Teams return from away-game sites at various times, so please look at your athlete's schedule for an approximate return and/or wait for your athlete's cell-phone call from the bus on the way home from the game.
