Attention Seniors: Are You Considering College?
Most four-year colleges require incoming freshmen to submit either the SAT or ACT exam score in order to be considered for both admission and merit scholarships.  Many will accept either score, however, check with each college for its admission guidelines. These tests can be taken more than once, if a student is not satisfied with his/her test score.  A test fee will be charged each time a test is taken.

Test scores can be sent directly to more than one college. You can select four colleges to receive your scores at no cost when you register online at https://www.collegeboard.org/ for an SAT test, and http://www.act.org/ to register for the SAT.  If you fail to choose colleges when you register for the SAT, you have nine days after the test to contact collegeboard and select to have your scores sent for free.

If you are interested in attending college, please see Mrs. Mitzlaff or Mrs. Perdue in the Counseling Office, or Mrs. Dallabetta in the College and Career Center, as soon as possible.

You can register for both tests online.

SAT fee: $49.50 with no essay/64.50 with writing

    Community Colleges:

Two-year community colleges do not require the SAT or ACT test as acceptance; however, scores can be used for Math and English placement options.  Please check with a counselor or the community college website for more information.
