NMFE Annual Bingo Night & Silent Auction
"Buy all the cards you can and play!" This was one third grader's strategy for winning prizes at Nine Mile Falls Elementary's Annual Bingo Night sponsored by the PTG. Families filled the gym at on Thursday, March 1, and enjoyed socializing and eating pizza, while anxiously waiting for the number to be called to win a prize. Big prizes included passes to the Spokane Civic Theater, Wild Walls, Indians games, Triple Play, Get Air, and the Spokane Symphony to name a few, plus over 100 prizes at the "kids' table," with local businesses donating generously. Raffle tickets could also be bought for a Roller Skating Birthday Party for 50 at Pattisons.
In addition, 28 themed baskets were a auctioned during the night’s festivities. This silent auction has slowly grown and all proceeds from the baskets and Bingo will go towards school needs that will be determined at a PTG meeting, most likely technology.
Hats off to the PTG officers/members and to all the volunteers who helped to make the evening possible.
