LHS Open House
Lakeside High School hosted its annual Open House on Tuesday, September 5. Parents and students met in the gym to hear from Principal Brent Osborn after picking up a class schedule in the lobby. Mr. Osborn explained that attendance and applying oneself to academics are keys to high school success. He shared that whether a student wanted to attend a two year, a four year, or a Tech college, it was important to take challenging courses all four years of high school. This applies to students who might choose a military career, too. Rigor in high school is a component to college completion as well. Students could then find each of their classrooms and meet their teachers. Trying out locker combinations was a popular activity, too. ASB students and cheerleaders were on hand to answer questions and give tours.
