I graduated from the College of Idaho with a teaching certificate in Physical Education/Health and a minor in Coaching (was lucky enough to coach in this district for 18 years).  When my family and I moved to Suncrest in 1988, I decided to get an elementary endorsement from Whitworth College.  My first class was with 3rd graders. I then went to 2nd where I was able to job share for several years.  I decided to go full time since my two children were at the middle school, and I headed to 1st grade.  Two years ago I became a National Board Certified teacher.  I have learned that with the help of parents any child can learn and love coming to school.  I believe that without the help of the community/volunteers my job isn't as fun.  Thanks to all of you that support our district.
