Nine Mile Falls Elementary School’s many talented students were showcased in the all-school Talent Show and Art Exhibit on Friday, June 6th. Sponsored and organized by the PTG, both performing and visual arts were celebrated. Karen Hudson, Amiee Spence, Brenda Hartman, and Jennifer Clark of the PTG all chaired sections of the event. Two fifth grade Master of Ceremonies did an expert job at announcing and ad-libbing as necessary.

In the foyer of the gym, an exhibit area was set up that displayed 17 entries. Drawings, paintings, and photography projects were showcased. Another studdent added a sculpture to this collection. Singing, dancing, and instrumental music were presented before the student body and parents during the school day. This performing arts section of this event included 23 acts with 28 students, and one dad; A father and daughter played the duet, Heart and Soul, on the piano. A fifth grader ended the show with his amazing bike tricks.
