Bill has lived in the Suncrest Community for 21 years with his wife Caryl. They have five children, one of which went to Lakeside High School. In addition, they have nine grandchildren, with one great grandchild due in March. Bill has been an active partner with our school district for many years. "My motto is, I would rather wear out than rust out. I feel giving back, by joining a group of dedicated men an women, would be a way of meeting this goal. I want this school district to be an example of excellence."

Debbie has two children in our District, one at Lakeside Middle School and one at Lake Spokane Elementary. The family has resided --and been involved-- in the Suncrest community since 1994. She has volunteered her time with the Parent Teacher Network, was the parent representative for the TLC group, and helps her husband organize the Nine Mile Falls recreational soccer program. Debbie decided to run for the School Board because she felt her background and experience would add value in the decision-making process for improving the educational experience and enhancing academic ex-cellence for all Nine Mile Falls students. Debbie's logical, researched, no-nonsense approach to problem solving, and sensitive, caring 'mom' nature enables her to make informed decisions based on what's best for the kids, and the majority. |
Greg began his service to our District when his kids (two LHS graduates and one LHS senior) were in elementary school, by volunteering in classrooms and chaperoning field trips. Then in 2001, he was elected to the School Board. He has lived in Suncrest for over 20 years. "Over the years I've become acquainted with the teachers and administrators and enjoy working with such good people," he stated. |
Mac is a lifelong member of Nine Mile Falls and a graduate of Lakeside High School (1993). He has three children attending school in the District and stays very active by volunteering as a coach for youth girls’ basketball. He is a member of the Washington State School Board Director’s Association and also serves as the District’s representative for the Washington Interscholastic Athletic Association. Mac has a Bachelors degree from Washington State University and works as Safety & Security Coordinator at Avista Corporation. “My commitment to the community is one that is whole-hearted and genuine. I believe that Nine Mile’s small-town solidarity leads to big time success. Our community’s livelihood lies in the promise to our youth; with a commitment to education that is unprecedented, diligent, and without prejudice, there will be positive outcomes.” |
