Through the OSPI web site, the public is able to review the the Essential Academic Learning Requirements (EALR's) and the Grade Level Expectations (GLE'S). Learn more about the recent changes made to the mathematics WASL graduation requirement and what those changes mean for schools and students. Washington State Parent Teacher Association (WSPTA)
Washington State PTA has developed Parent-Friendly Grade Level Expectations resources, beginning with grades eight and ten. The WSPTA has designed brochures to help parents know what students are expected to know and at what grade level. Digital Learning Commons: The Digital Learning Commons (DLC) is a nonprofit organization established to improve access to educational opportunities and learning resources by providing high-quality educational materials, online courses, and technology tools for Washington’s students, teachers, and parents. Transition Math Project: In 2004, the Transition Math Project was formed to support a successful student math transition from high school, to college, to the workforce. The Project has now published its College Readiness Mathematics Standards. This document clearly defines the knowledge, concepts, and skills that students need to master prior to college. They are statements of what students should know and be able to do. There are eight math Standards outlined. Within these standards are a set of components with specific elements and evidence of learning indicators. The College Readiness Mathematics Standards are available there as a PDF. http://www.transitionmathproject.org

Connected Math Project Parents' Website: A site for parents who wish to help their student with homework. It offers general support and well as specific, unit- by - unit, mathematical help. It also provides guidance to what your teen is learning in his/her class. http://www.phschool.com/cmp2/
