Despite some early morning snow, Lakeside High School was given a “Spring Cleaning” by parents, students, staff, School Board members, soon to be Superintendent Brian Talbott, and community members. “Eagle Pride Day” (held this year on Saturday, April 19th) is an annual event sponsored by the Booster/PTA Club to help spruce up the high school after winter. Volunteers raked, painted, pruned, and picked up garbage to show their pride in Lakeside. “It was a great day,” commented volunteer Tom Cresswell. “Every parent who has a student in sports or activities should join the Booster Club to help support the school.” All volunteers were treated by the Club to Director Greg Flemming’s famous barbecue.
