Senior Year Pre-College Checklist
*Watch the mail for college acceptance letters. Along with your child, compare the financial aid awards that your child receives.
*Make the final decision (required by May 1, 2008), and send in a deposit by that deadline.
* Check with your child’s college of choice about the details of signing and returning financial aid award letters.
*Have your child notify the other schools that he/she will not be attending.
*Remind your child to watch for important deadlines at his/her college of choice (housing, financial aid, etc.).

Junior Year Pre-College Checklist
*Students need to register for the SAT or ACT test if you haven’t taken either one of these this year.
* Juniors should continue compiling information to find out which organizations award scholarships to graduation seniors (Students may have to begin applying for outside funding during the summer before their senior year in high school.)
*There are over 2,000 four-year colleges and universities in the United States. When looking for a college, consider the following:
Location Majors/Programs/Activities, Size, Cost/Financial Aid, Reputation, Admission Requirements, Facilities, &Environment
