School Board Recognizes Excellence

Western States Bus Services Manager Jeff Flatt (center) displays the Appreciation Plaque given to him by Interim Superintendent Bridget Lewis (center, to his right) at the February School Board meeting. At the February School Board meeting, Western States Bus Services was recognized by Interim Superintendent Bridget Lewis. Each day, drivers and staff at Western States provide an important service to our District and its students. A bus driver is the first person our students see in the morning and the last they see at the end of their school day. The drivers can set the tone for a student’s day. Their attention to our students’ safety and well-being is done in a very professional, yet extremely caring manner. This winter our roads have been particularly treacherous, and the expertise of the Westerns States Bus Drivers and staff has shown through. Mrs. Lewis presented Mr. Jeff Flatt, Western States Manager, with an Appreciation Plaque.
