Eagle Scout and
Lakeside High School sophomore with his mother.

Throughout
the years our District has benefited from Eagle Scout
projects completed by students. At the School Board
meeting, a Lakeside High School sophomore and Eagle Scout,
presented his Eagle Project to the Board. Brandt remodeled
and repaired the football/track press
box at Lakeside High School. He insulated, dry walled,
taped,
mudded, sanded, and cleaned. After which he also painted
and installed windows.
The
Eagle Scout spent an accumulated 214 hours on this project.
He thanked Gale Construction, Ziggys, Cougar Mechanical,
as
well as his mother, and two gentlemen
who, not only have been his mentor in Scouts, but in life, Mr. Ed Rosell
and Mr. Bill Mcbride. Lakeside’s Principal, Mr.
Mark St.Clair, thanked the teen and shared with the Board
that the press box was in much need of repair; not
only was Lakeside’s staff appreciative of his project, but that opposing
teams had commented on the quality of the improvements. The School Board
Directors also thanked him for his contribution to improving one of Lakeside
High School’s
facilities. |
