A Sweet Deal!
Lake Spokane Elementary’s Bingo Night

A student poses with her winning card and her new T-shirt. A friend shared her success!

While the big snow storm postponed the event, nothing could squelch the fun and excitement at Lake Spokane Elementary School on Thursday, March 13th! A fourth earned the honors of winning the first game at the annual Lake Spokane Elementary Bingo Night. Families packed the cafeteria for a chance to win prizes and to socialize. School Board Director Kyle Yancey called all twelve rounds of bingo.

“I just need one more ‘til Blackout,” exclaimed a second grader. When Mr. Yancey called “B-8,” she won a Mustang t-shirt! Over 200 prizes including Mustang water bottles and T-shirts, posters, and a variety of gift certificates were given away. A first grader and his father won back to back bingo games, taking home a kite and a NASCAR poster! In addition, during one round, anyone who had “B-9” won a candy bar...a sweet deal during a night of family fun!

A big thank you to Renee Pavalin for organizing the event and to all of the wonderful volunteers
who helped make the evening such a success.
