Vicki has lived in Nine Mile Falls since 1993, and has a daughter and a son in the district. Prior to serving on the School Board, she served on Lake Spokane Elementary's Parent Teacher Network for four years, with three as the treasurer. She also enjoyed working in the classrooms and serving on various school committees such as the Learning Improvement Team. Now Vicki is an active member of the Lakeside High School Booster/PTA Club. Currently, she in her 3rd year of an appointment to the Federal Relations Network, an advocacy group for educational issues at the federal level. She was first elected to the School Board in 2001.

“I am proud of the education that my two children are receiving in the Nine Mile Falls School District. From Kindergarten through high school, they have been nurtured by caring, hard-working individuals.”

Greg began his service to our District when his two high school students were in elementary school, volunteering in classrooms and chaperoning field trips. Then in 2001, he was elected to the School Board. He has lived in Suncrest for 16 years.

"Over the years I've become acquainted with the teachers and administrators and enjoy working with such good people," he stated. Greg is also now a member of the high school's Booster/PTA Club and is often the "head chef" at barbecues sponored by the Club!

Debbie has two children in our District, one at Lakeside Middle and one at Lake Spokane Elementary. The family has resided -and been involved- in the Suncrest community since 1994. She has volunteered her time with the Parent Teacher Network, was the parent representative for the TLC group, and helps her husband organize the Nine Mile Falls recreational soccer program.

Debbie decided to run for the School Board because she felt her background and experience would add value in the decision making process for improving the educational experience and enhancing academic excellence for all Nine Mile Falls students. Debbie's logical, researched,
no-nonsense approach to problem solving, and sensitive, caring 'mom' nature enables her to make informed decisions based on what's best for the kids, and the majority.

Kyle is a 2001 Lakeside High School graduate who attended Nine Mile Falls Elementary, then our middle school and high school. He served the high school as the Student School Board Representative his junior and senior year, as well as being the ASB President his senior year. He presently is a Real Estate Agent, an Emergency Medical Technician, and is attending SCC to get his Paramedic Certificate.

He chose to run for the School Board, “Because I love Nine Mile and would like to have my kids go here when I have them. I would like to be part of the process of laying a good foundation for this School District,” he shared. “I’m excited to develop ways for more people to be involved in our school district, people without kids in the schools.

Cori is a long time member of the Nine Mile community. She and her husband of 24 years, Mark, have two grown sons; Grant is married with two children and Cody, attended school in our School District, Kindergarten through 12th grade. He is currently in college.

"I love kids and am excited to serve this community by helping our school system improve," she commented. Her father instilled a sense of "giving back" to the community, and this in part is why she sought the position. As a Board, they will be looking at ways to get measurable community input.
